Payment & Purchasing

We accept all major credit cards, verified checks and cash in-store, as well as PayPal, ShopPay, MetaPay, and Afterpay on-line.  

Our website is secured by an SSL certificate which protects your credit card information with 256-bit data encryption.  It is a one-time transfer and we do not store your credit card data in our system. 

Digital gift cards are available for purchase starting at $100. If you have a request for an amount that is not offered on our website please contact us directly at (504)-891-8848 or sales@marioncage.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If you would like a necklace in a custom length or a piece in a different metal/finish, please contact us and we will be our best to accommodate your request. Additional charges may apply and keep in mind that special orders are final sale and not returnable or exchangeable. Customers ordering and/or shipping internationally should contact our customer service department at (504)-891-8848 or sales@marioncage.com.  Please keep in mind that we only accept US currency and that you will be responsible for any taxes/duties incurred by destination country.  As we are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be, we recommend contacting your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming from outside of your country. On very rare occasions international shipping to some countries can take several weeks. We are not responsible for any delays by destination country's customs clearance processes. All international orders are final sale and cannot be returned for credit or refund.

Obtaining an accurate ring size can be difficult and we suggest that you be sized by your local jeweler prior to ordering a ring. A wide band in a size 6 will fit more snugly than a narrow band in the same size, so such factors must be considered. Other factors such as temperature, salt intake, exercise and travel can also have a dramatic effect on your finger size, so we strongly recommend that you be sized multiple times to accurately determine your ring size. There is no such thing as a ring that fits perfectly at all times and under every condition. Most of our rings can be resized for a $30 fee. Please note that we do not resize silver rings.

Shipping & Fulfillment

We utilize USPS for all standard domestic shipping, and we offer complimentary USPS ground shipping on all orders over $150. Other shipping options, including expedited shipping are available and calculated at the market rate. Shipping confirmations are sent once your order has shipped. We ship to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS only. All return shipments sent to Marion Cage require prior authorization. Any shipments sent without prior authorization will be returned to sender. Shipments must be carefully packaged to ensure that items are not damaged in transit. Marion Cage does not cover costs of return shipping. We recommend fully insuring all shipments. If you are shipping fine jewelry, contact your insurance provider to determine your best shipping option.



Marion Cage jewelry is handmade to order in limited editions therefore, we hold only a small number of items in inventory. Orders for in stock items usually ship within two to three business days. You will be notified if there is a longer lead time for the delivery of your order. All orders ship Monday – Friday, apart from some national holidays and are shipped from our retail gallery/studio in New Orleans, LA. Once an order has shipped, Marion Cage is not responsible for items that are lost or stolen during transit. In-store pickup is available at our flagship gallery location, located at 3807 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70115 Monday-Saturday, 11am-6pm. Please select “in-store pick up” as your preferred delivery option at checkout. A confirmation email will be sent once the item is ready for pickup. For same day pickup requests, please contact our sales team at sales@marioncage.com.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns of items sold from our store inventory within 14 days from the. date of purchase for exchange, store credit or refund provided you have a sales or gift receipt. Restocking fees may apply.  Please call (504)-891-8848 or email sales@marioncage.com for a return authorization.  Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipments are the responsibility of the customer. The item must be returned in an unused condition and in the original packaging to the following address:

Items must be well packed and insured for the full purchase amount. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.  All special orders, rings made to size and sale merchandise are considered final sales and are not eligible for return or exchange.

If you would like to exchange an item, we suggest that you place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase. This will ensure that your exchange item is in stock. You are then welcomed to return your original order for a full refund. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item.

Any items that arrive damaged must immediately be documented and inspected. For us to honor your claim, we will need photos detailing the package’s exterior and interior, including any packaging materials that arrived with the box. Once the photos are captured, you can then submit them to us at sales@marioncage.com. Requests must be received within seven days of delivery.

Warranty & Repair

We take pride in our craftsmanship and want you to enjoy your jewelry for many years to come.  If for any reason an item breaks due to a manufacturing defect within six months of purchase, repairs are made at no cost.  All other repairs of damaged or worn pieces are available upon request. If your jewelry needs repair and was purchased through our website or from our shop in New Orleans, please contact us at sales@marioncage.com. Repair costs will vary depending on the damage done to the piece.  Items purchased through retailers must be returned to the original retailer to process the repair.

Marion Cage offers a six-month warranty that covers the cost of all repairs under normal wear for the first six months after purchase. However, if pieces are noticeably bent, show improper care, or are damaged in any other manner, repairs will be performed at
cost. We offer cleaning and stone tightening on all pieces where the first service will be complimentary and any servicing after your first service will be at a charge of $35. Outside of warranty, Marion Cage will perform repairs for a fee.

Please note, if any jeweler other than Marion Cage makes alterations or repairs to your jewelry within the first six months, the Marion Cage warranty will be voided. We are happy to make minor adjustments to jewelry, including resizing, for an additional fee. For international clients, there may be a local option for repair with trusted jewelers in your region.

When an order does not include free shipping, all shipping costs (including the return shipping) are handled by the customer.

When an order includes free shipping, only the cost of the return shipping is handled by the customer.
